8.6 Connection of a superordinate
controller provided by the cus-
tomer
Units of type RVD can be switched on and off by a
superordinate controller. In order to utilise the
potential-free contact for externally switching the
unit on and off, it is first necessary to remove the
jumper (JR6) at the indoor unit control board. The
contacts are then available.

The building controller is now connected via the
two outer contacts of the plug labelled ON - OFF. If
the connection between the two contacts is open,
the system is in stand-by mode. The “Operation
LED” and the “Timer LED” blink alternately. The
unit can no longer be switched on using the remote
control.
