DRIVING THE C38

SWITCH Tx ON. Make sure knobs are correctly set as in pic top right.
REVERSER.

  Set forward direction. Twist small knob to the right. Fully CW = No Inertia.  Part CW = Max Inertia.

Inertia is variable between the two points during use.

REGULATOR.

  This is used to increase and decrease loco speed.

SPEEDING UP.

With 

NO

 Inertia set. Twist big knob to desired speed setting.  Loco speed will follow knob setting.

With 

MAX

 Inertia set. Twist big knob to desired speed. Loco will slowly accelerate to set speed.

SLOWING DOWN.

With 

NO 

Inertia set, twist big knob CCW to slow down.  Loco will follow knob.

With 

MAX

 Inertia set, Twist big knob CCW to desired speed. it will slow down at same rate.

CHANGE DIRECTION.

 

Stop Loco. i.e. Fully CCW. Bring Reverser back to neutral. Wait 1 second then twist small knob to the left. CCW.

HAVING A PROBLEM SWITCHING ON?

If switch on procedure is not followed correctly, LED on the ESC will flicker fast instead of one blink per second.  

CURE.

 Twist knobs to be in correct position. LED on ESC will then blink once per second.

If the Tx handpiece battery has gone flat you may need to re-set the Ch # 1 centering.  See page # 5.

Tx LED is  flashing when switched ON and range is poor.
CURE.

 The Tx battery is flat.  Replace the battery and be sure you centre the Ch # 1 knob as per page # 5.
