SAFETY
PRECAUTIONS
• Read all instructions before using your juicer.
• Never touch moving parts while operating.
• Use care when operating if children are present.
• For household use only. Do not use outdoors – exposure to the elements could cause fire,
electrical shock, or injury.
• To protect against risk of electrical shock, never submerge the Motor Base in water or
other liquid.
• Do not put your fingers or other objects into the Feeder Tube while the juicer is in
operation.
• Contact with the Juicing Screw when the unit is in use could cause serious injury. Use
caution when handling and always use the Food Pusher when juicing.
• Do not operate this or any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctions, or is damaged in any manner. Return the product to your local Service
Center for examination, repair or electrical or mechanical adjustment.
• Turn off the motor after each use of your juicer. Before disassembling or cleaning, make
sure the motor stops completely then unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.
• Do not unplug by pulling on the cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord, and pull.
• Always make sure the Juicing Bowl Cover is fastened securely in place before the motor
is turned on.
• Do not attempt to unfasten the Juicing Bowl Cover while the juicer is in operation.
• Do not let the cord hang over edge of table or counter.
• The use of attachments or replacement parts not recommended or sold by the manufacturer
may cause fire, electrical shock, or other injury.
• Do not use the appliance if the Strainer Basket is damaged.
• The 110 V-120 V unit may have a polarized plug (one blade wider than the other). To
reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the
plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified
electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.
