Changing Out the Renegade® Hoof Boot Cable
This is usually only necessary under the rare condition that a cable frays or
breaks. Even then, you can send the boot back to us at the factory for
repair at no cost of labor. However, to reduce overall downtime and
shipping costs, you may want to consider doing the cable replacement
yourself. The following instructions will help you do this and as always, feel
free to call us at any time for one-on-one technical support.
1. Begin by removing the Phillips head screw from the Pulley Button. Be
sure not to lose this screw.
2. If the Pulley Button rotates, grab it from both sides with pliers.
