Dear Customer: The following safety information is intended not only for the protection of the
device but also for the protection of your health. Please read the following items carefully:
• For safety reasons, any unauthorized conversions and/or modifications to the product are not
permitted.
• This device is a safety class II product. Only a proper mains socket (100 - -240 V 50/60 Hz) of the
public supply net must be used as voltage source.
• Ensure proper commissioning of the device. Observe the operating instructions for it.
• Make sure that the mains cable is not squeezed, bent, damaged by sharp edges or put under
mechanical stress. Avoid excessive thermal stress on the mains cable from extreme heat or
cold. Do not modify the mains cable. Otherwise the mains cable may be damaged. A damaged
mains cable can cause a deadly electric shock.
• Do not touch the mains cable if it is damaged. First, power down the respective mains socket
(e.g. via the respective FI switch and circuit breaker) and then carefully pull the mains plug from
the mains socket. Never use the product if the mains cable is damaged.
• In order to completely separate the device from the mains, you have to pull the mains plug out
of the wall socket. It is not sufficient to turn the device off with the on/off switch.
• This product is not a toy and not suitable for children. Children cannot judge the dangers in-
volved when handling electrical devices.
• Never pour any liquids over electrical devices or put objects filled with liquid on top of them.
There is great danger of fire or potentially fatal electric shock. If this is the case, first power
down the respective mains socket (e.g. switch off circuit breaker and FI switch) and then pull
the mains cable from the socket. Disconnect all cables from the device. Do not operate the
product anymore afterwards, but take it to a specialist workshop.
• Never touch the mains plug with wet or damp hands. There is a risk of potentially fatal electric
shock!
• Ensure proper commissioning of the device. Never cover the casing.
• Do not expose the device to any high temperatures, dripping or splashing water, strong vibra-
tions or heavy mechanical stress.
• Do not place any open sources of fire, such as burning candles, on the device.
