Function „Register“ (register the outdoor unit at the mobile unit)
The enclosed mobile unit has already been registered at the outdoor unit by the manufacturer.
Re-registering is usually not necessary.
However, if the mobile unit is unable to connect to the outdoor unit, start the following registration
process.
Proceed as follows:
• Briefly push the doorbell button on the outdoor unit. If the mobile unit does not react, remove the outdoor
unit from the weather protection frame (turn out screw on the bottom and fold out the outdoor unit).
• Keep the registration unit (8) on the rear of the outdoor unit pushed (approx. 3 seconds) until the white
LEDs of the outdoor unit flash.
• You need to call the setting menu „Register“ within the next 15 seconds. Then push the left function
button (11) below the display „Select“.
• Then the outdoor unit is registered at the mobile unit and the camera image of the outdoor unit appears
in the mobile unit display.
If „Duplicate“ is displayed on the mobile unit, the outdoor unit has already been registered at the mobile
unit and is functional.
• Insert the outdoor unit into the weather protection frame again and screw it on tightly.
Alternatively, you can also proceed as follows for registration:
• After calling the function in the mobile unit, push the left function button (11) below the display „Select“
to start registration.
To cancel, push the right function button (15) below the display „Back“ to return to the main menu.
• When you have started the registration process, „Searching.....“ will appear in the mobile unit display for
approx. 20 - 25 seconds.
Within this time, you have to keep the registration button (8) at the rear of the outdoor unit pushed for at
least 3 seconds.
