Intended use
This product is designed to view distant objects. Thanks to the optical zoom, objects
such as animals, buildings or trees can be viewed in detail from a long distance. The
dioptre adjustment allows you to compensate for differences between your eyes. The
binoculars are designed for outdoor use. However, they must not come into direct
contact with water or moisture.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If
you use the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may
be damaged. In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as fires. Read the
instructions carefully and keep them. Make this product available to third parties only
together with its operating instructions.

Safety instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety
information. If you do not follow the safety instructions and information on
proper handling in this manual, we assume no liability for any resulting
personal injury or damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the
warranty/guarantee.
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. This may
become dangerous playing material for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong
jolts, high humidity, moisture, flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of
operation and protect it from any accidental use. Safe operation can no
longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a
low height can damage the product.
• Never look at or near the sun or other strong sources of light through the
binoculars, as this can cause blindness.
• Incorrect handling can result in the binoculars acting as a burning lens,
which can cause a fire. Do not leave the binoculars in direct sunlight.
• Ensure that you do not hit anything when using the binoculars, as this can
cause dangerous eye injuries.
• Stay still when using the binoculars.
• Do not touch the lenses with your fingers.
• Do not swing the binoculars using the neck strap. The binoculars may
hit you or others and cause injuries. In addition, the binoculars may be
damaged if they hit other objects.
• Ensure that you do not get caught on other objects with the neck strap.
This poses a risk of injury.
• The rubber eyecups may cause skin irritation after prolonged contact. If
you experience irritated skin, consult a physician.
• Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of
the device.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs are to be performed exclusively
by an expert or at a qualified shop.

Operation
a) Adjusting the eyepieces
• Change the position of the two eyecups (1 and 2) by moving them together or apart.
• If the eyepieces have been adjusted correctly, the image should appear as a circle
when you look through the binoculars.

b) Focusing
• Look through the binoculars and target a distant object.
• Close your right eye.
• Turn the focus knob (3) until the targeted object comes into focus in your left eye.
• Open your right eye and then close your left eye.
• Turn the dioptre adjustment (4) on the right eyepiece (1) until the targeted object
comes into focus in your right eye. Pay attention to the plus/minus markings on the
bottom of the right eyepiece and take note of the set position.
• The binoculars are now adjusted for your eyes. To view closer or more distant
objects, you can adjust the focus using the focus knob.
If you are wearing glasses, fold over the eyecups to bring your eyes closer
to the lenses.
c) Important
• You may be liable to prosecution if you use the binoculars to look at people without
their knowledge and consent.
• Do not use the binoculars when you are moving, as you may not notice obstacles in
front of you and could fall over them.
• Condensation may form on the lenses if the binoculars are exposed to rapid
changes in temperature. This is a normal phenomenon and the condensation will
usually disappear within an hour in warm rooms.
• Do not expose the binoculars to rain or moisture. Wipe water droplets off immediately
using a cleaning cloth.
Store the binoculars in the bag away from moisture when you are not using
them.
