If you do not have the expertise required for the installation, do not connect
and install it yourself, but ask a qualified technician.
a) General
• The unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the product is not allowed for
safety and approval reasons. Never open/dismantle it (apart from installation and
connection procedures described in the manual)! It does not contain any internal
parts that need to be adjusted or maintained by you.
• Maintenance, adjustment or repair work may only be carried out by an expert/
authorised service centre, which is familiar with the hazards involved and the rel-
evant regulations.
• The moisture-proof LED diffuser luminaire is not a toy and should be kept out of
the reach of children! There is danger of a life-threatening electric shock! Install
the moisture-proof LED diffuser luminaire so that it cannot be reached by children.
• Attention, LED light: Do not look directly into the LED light! Do not look directly or
with optical instruments into the light!
• Do not expose the moisture-proof LED diffuser luminaire to extreme temperatures,
strong vibrations or strong mechanical stress.
• On industrial sites, the accident prevention regulations of the association of the
industrial workers‘ society for electrical equipment and utilities must be followed!
• Do not leave the packaging material lying around carelessly as it may be a danger
to children.
• Handle the product with care; it can be damaged by impacts, blows or falls even
from a low height.
• If you have any questions that are not answered in this manual, please contact our
technical service or another specialist.
b) Installation/Operating Location
• The moisture-proof LED diffuser luminaire may be installed and operated indoors
and outdoors. However, never install it in water.
• Never cover the moisture-proof LED diffuser luminaire.
• Use the moisture-proof LED diffuser luminaire only when it is permanently mount-
ed. However, never install the moisture-proof LED diffuser luminaire on or inside
vehicles.
• Do not mount or operate the moisture-proof LED diffuser luminaire in rooms, or
under adverse environmental conditions, where combustible gases, vapours or
dust are or may be present! There is a danger of explosion!
• Do not install or attach objects (e.g., decorative material) to the moisture-proof
LED diffuser luminaire.
c) Installation, Connection
• The product is constructed according to Protection Class II.
• The moisture-proof LED diffuser luminaire may be connected only to the mains
voltage (see section „Technical Data“). Never try to operate the product at another
voltage, as this will result in the destruction of the product.
• The moisture-proof LED diffuser luminaire must not be connected and operated
via a dimmer.
• During installation, all poles must be disconnected from the mains voltage, e.g.,
via RCD. Between the RCD and the product, there must be an appropriately di-
mensioned fuse or circuit breaker (max. 16 A).
• Perform installation and connection only when all supply lines are disconnected
from the mains voltage. Otherwise, there is a risk of a life-threatening electric
shock!
• Do not connect the product to the power supply immediately after it has been
transferred from a cold room into a warm one (e.g., during transport). The conden-
sation that forms might destroy the device. Moreover, there is danger of electric
shock!
Allow the product to reach room temperature. Wait until the condensation has
evaporated. This might take several hours. Only after this, should it be installed,
connected to the mains supply and put into use.

The product is designed according to protection class IP65 for lighting in damp locations, base-
ments or outdoor area.
For safety and approval reasons, you may not convert and/or alter the product. If you use the
product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. Moreo-
ver, the improper use involves risks such as short-circuits, fire, electric shocks, etc. Please read
the operating instructions carefully and do not discard them. If you pass the product on to a third
party, please hand over these operating instructions as well.
