Controls
1 Opening on the top to mount the bracket
2 Screen sun shield (removable)
3 Object lens
4 IR-LEDs
5 Holder (with large opening for cable lead
through)
6 Antenna
7 Enclosure for pairing button (to connect the
camera to the surveillance system) and
microphone
8 Low voltage socket for voltage/power supply
via external A/C adapter (5 V/DC, 1 A)
Initial Operation
• First, screw the antenna tightly into the corresponding socket on the rear of the camera. The
antenna can be adjusted to various angles to improve connectivity.
• The holding bracket provided can be screwed to the top and bottom of the camera, depend-
ing on where the wireless camera is to be installed.
The sun shield can be removed depending on the mounting location (for example,
indoors). To do this, simply slide it out in a forward or backward direction.
The sun shield prevents the electronics in the wireless camera from overheating
during prolonged sun exposure to the sun and thus from damage. If the mounting
location is temporarily exposed to the sun, do not remove the sun shield from the
wireless camera.
• Fasten the holding bracket with suitable screws and, if necessary, wall plugs, depending on
the installation location. Pay attention when drilling and tightening the screws that no cable
or pipes are damaged.
Before fixing the installation, you should first check that the wireless transmission
between the wireless camera and the surveillance system is faultless.
Various environmental factors can impact the achievable range and quality of the
transmitted signal.
Select an installation location where the wireless camera is protected against ma-
nipulation attempts. For this reason, the camera should be mounted at a minimum
height of 2.5 m.
For outdoor use we recommend choosing a location that is protected from rain or
spray water (e.g., under eaves) as the formation of droplets on the camera‘s front
panel can lead to a distorted and unusable image.
• Adjust the objective lens of the wireless camera so that it points at the desired surveillance
area. Accurate adjustment can be done later when the image of the wireless camera can be
seen on the surveillance system.
• Route the cable to the power supply using a suitable cable duct or the like. The connector
for the power connection is protected against moisture. However, do not place it in or under
water. We recommend a place where it is protected from direct rainfall.
If you want to pass the connection cable through a wall, protect the plug from dust and dirt
e.g., using a small plastic bag.
• Ensure that the housing (7) with the integrated microphone is suitably placed. Align the open-
ings of the microphone so that they point in the direction of the surveillance area of the
camera. Secure the enclosure/cable e.g., with cable fasteners.
There is a small square button at the other side of the enclosure (7). This is used to
pair the wireless camera with he surveillance system. Make sure that this button is
not pressed accidentally. Leave some distance between the enclosure/button and
the mounting surface.
• Connect the low-voltage plug of the provided AC adapter to the corresponding round socket
on the wireless camera.
The power adapter is only intended for use in dry indoor locations. It must never get
damp or wet; danger of a fatal electric shock!
• The camera is now ready for use.
Attention, important!
Before it is possible to display the image of the wireless camera on the surveillance
system (e.g., Conrad item no. 1505092), the wireless camera must be logged on to
the surveillance system (also referred to as “Pairing”).
Also ensure that the channel used for the wireless camera on the surveillance sys-
tem is turned on.
Make sure to read the operating instructions of the surveillance system as to how
pairing is performed.
Maintenance and Cleaning
• Disconnect the product from the mains supply before each cleaning procedure.
• Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical solutions
since these could damage the housing or even impair operation.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable material and do not belong in the household
waste. Dispose of an unserviceable product in accordance with the relevant statu-
tory regulations.
