• Attach the included mounting bracket to the casing with the lateral thumbscrews.
• If you want to set up the effect light, turn the two mounting brackets so that they form a base and then
tighten the thumbscrews.
• If you want to suspend the effect light, turn one mounting bracket up.
• Install the effect beamer on the ceiling, the wall or a suitable crossbeam with the mounting bracket. The
assembly must never swing freely.
• Secure the device with assembly equipment that is compatible with the attachment surface and suitable
for carrying the weight of the effect light.
• Additionally secure the installation with a suitable safety restraint cable or a safety net. The safety reten-
tion rope or the net must be designed to support the effect light in the event of failure of the main support
system independently of the main attachment.
• Set the desired inclination angle and tighten the thumb screws well.
7. Battery of the remote control
Keep batteries out of reach of children.
Observe correct polarity when inserting the battery.
Remove the battery when the device is not in use for extended periods of time.
Leaking or damaged batteries/rechargeable batteries can cause chemical burns to skin when
touched without the use of adequate protective gloves.
Do not short-circuit the battery and do not throw it into fire. It also must not be recharged. Dan-
ger of explosion.
At initial commissioning, the battery of the remote control may be protected from discharge
by an isolation film. Remove this film before use by pulling it out of the remote control’s battery
compartment.
Battery change
• Pull the battery holder at the rear of the remote control out.
• Remove the discharged battery and insert a new 3 V-Lithium button cell CR2025. The correct polarity is
indicated in the battery holder.
• Insert the batteries in the remote control again.
• If the remote control no longer functions properly or the range reduces, the battery is discharged and
must be replaced with a new one of the same type.
