Operation
1. Connect the two square USB type B connectors with a free USB port of your PC
using an appropriate USB cable.
2. Connect your USB device with the USB type A socket of the USB switch. More
USB devices can be connected using other hubs.
3. Press the “Select” button on the USB switch to switch between the connected
computers. The green LED is on to indicate which computer is connected with the
peripheral device at the moment.
4. The USB switch has a special key combination; however, it is only available for
Windows. It enables comfortable switching. To address the USB switch, press the
“Scroll Lock” key on the PC keyboard twice within two seconds. The key combi-
nation does not function, if the currently connected computer is switched off or in
sleep mode.
Do not use the Hotkey-application when the green LED(s) is flashing.
If you used the hotkey combination for switching, then wait for approx. 30
seconds before doing a switchback. This gives the operating system suf-
ficient time to detect and link the USB device.
Do not switch the USB port when the connected USB peripheral device is in
use.

Use a dry and lint-free cloth to clean the product. For stronger contamination, use a
cloth that is slightly moistened with lukewarm water.
