Immerse yourself in pleasantly hot water. Air bubbles burst on your skin, your weightless body is carried by
the water. The individually adjustable massage relaxes your muscles, relieving tension.
It stimulates the metabolism, has a positive effect on the vegetative nervous system, the brain releases
“happy hormones” – you feel good all over. In order to get to know the pleasant effects of water whirl

ing on your body and mind and to be able to use it correctly, here are some handy tips on using the
whirlpool.
Whirlpool rules
1.
Shower with soap or shower gel before using the whirlpool. That helps the skin build up a natural
acid protection layer. The air bubbles which burst on your skin are particularly good at deep cleans-
ing.

The total of time, intensity of massage and water temperature determines how you will feel after
your whirlpool bath. After a short, cool and gentle massage, will be invigorated when you leave the
whirlpool. A longer, warmer and more intense massage, leaves you feeling relaxed and calm.

Scented oils have a lasting effect, depending on the feeling desired. If you want to feel invigorated
after the whirlpool, use an energising aroma such as eucalyptus or lemon. Only use bath additives
that are appropriate for whirlpools, i.e. that either do not froth or only froth a little.
Effect on the body and well-being
- The connective tissue, muscles etc. feel weightless and therefore tension-free.
- The heat and moisture open the pores of the skin.
- The bursting of the air bubbles on the surface of the skin causes a special peeling and stimulation
effect due to the pressure change when interrupting surface tension.
- The heat relieves tension and cramps, and
gives a relaxed massage.
- The temperature on the surface of our skin influences how we feel.
- As a result of the opened pores, the skin’s oxygen intake increases.
- The oxygen is transported better due to the even stimulation of blood flow.
- The aroma substances are both transported through the air and absorbed more effectively.
- The massaging movement has a relaxing effect, stimulating circulation.
- The high humidity soothes the respiratory tract, stabilising the mucous membranes.
