5.6 Display Menu
The Display menu allows the operator to configure the display elements to suit
individual tastes and operating conditions. With this menu, the operator can:
1. Change the Color Scheme
2. Set the Contrast
3. Display or Hide the Sonar Grid
4. Freeze the sonar image
5.6.1 Change the Color Scheme (Color)
Six pre-set color schemes are available. The color palette indicates the color-
coded amplitude values for the sonar wedge area. This is a display setting only
and has no effect on internal processing.
5.6.2 Set the Contrast (Contrast)
The “Contrast” option allows the operator to set the contrast level for the display.
This is a display setting only and has no effect on internal processing.
5.6.3 Color-Code Sounding Dots (Dots)
The “Dots” menu item provides the option to color-code each sounding dot,
depending on various factors. The choices available are:
