5.2.4 Use of the hood in recirculation mode
To use the appliance as a recirculation hood, the activated carbon filter(s) must be fitted on the fan motor
before using the hood. An activated carbon filter or filters are included with some models. Otherwise,
you will need to purchase an activated carbon filter or filters from your cooker hoods supplier/dealer.
5.2.5 Electrical hook-up
WARNING:
Before connecting the hood, make sure the voltage (V) shown on the
nameplate is the same as the mains voltage available in your home.
WARNING:
Do not install the appliance if the nameplate values do not match the available
supply voltage. The nameplate is located inside the hood, behind the grease filter.
If the hood is equipped with a standard plug, insert the plug into an easily accessible standard power
outlet.
5.2.6 Fitting the charcoal filter
The instructions for installing the charcoal filter are supplied in the charcoal filter pack. To install the
charcoal filter, remove the grease filter(s), then install the charcoal filter in compliance with the assembly
instructions, and refit the grease filter(s).
5.2.7 Air exhaust duct
The air exhaust duct is not supplied.
