Installation

Step 2

2a)

2b)

For the separate 24VAC transformer there are two opons.

A second opon is to connect the 120 to 24VAC transformer

to a 120 line voltage terminal on the circuit board. This will

typically be a constant on connecon.

If the circuit board has an “EAC” (Electronic air cleaner)

terminal you can connect there. This circuit is connected

to the fan & will acvate the air cleaner when the fan circuit

is on. The EAC terminal is usually 120 volt however do

confirm this with a volt meter or the circuit board electrical

specificaons.

Running the Power Cord

It may be necessary to run the power cord through the

cabinet of the furnace or air handler to reach the filter

rack area. If so:

Drill a suitably sized access hole in the cabinet to run

the power cord through...or...run the cord through

one of the rubber plugs on the side of the furnace

or air handler.
Insert the supplied grommet if an access hole(9/32”)

was drilled. This will protect the insulaon of the power

cord from being cut or damaged.
Do not crimp or abrade the cord.
