3 InserTIng BaTTerIes (reMoTe ConTrol)
3A
To open the battery
compartment, slide the
cover down.
3B
Insert 6 x 1.5 V AA batteries
and pay attention to the
polarity, as shown in the
battery compartment.
3C
Push the battery
cover up and
close.
4 ChargIng The Quadroplane
Attention:
The battery and motor must cool down for 10 to 15 minutes before
charging and after every flight. Otherwise they can be damaged. The charging process
must be constantly monitored. Always ensure that the charging process takes place on
a fireproof surface in a fire-resistant environment.
• Unplug the quadroplane from the battery and switch off the remote control
(4A)
.
• Plug the USB cable into an open USB port
(4A)
. Now connect the plug of the USB
cable to the charger
(4C)
. Plug the battery cable into the charger; the LED on the
charger illuminates. The plug must be gently inserted into the charging socket – DO
NOT USE FORCE. If the plug is not correctly inserted into the charging socket, the
quadroplane may become damaged and, under certain circumstances, become an
injury risk
(4D)
.
• The charging process lasts approximately 90 minutes. The LED on the charger goes
out when it is completed.
• Disconnect the battery from the charger and the charging cable after the charging
is completed.
The quadroplane can fly for approx. 6–7 minutes after a charge time of
90 minutes.
Warning notice:
The LiPo battery can become warmer during charging. If it should
become hot and/or changes to the surface begin to appear, immediately discontinue
the charging process!

The thrust controller (the left controller on the remote control) must point down before
being switched on
(5A)
. Then set the control switch of the remote control to the "ON"
position; the Power LED will flash
(5B)
. Connect the battery cable to the connection
cable
(5C)
. Now the transmitter beeps two times and the quadroplane is ready for
start-up. Place the quadroplane on the ground so that the tail points toward you
(5D)
.
6 TrIM adJusTMenT oF The ConTrol
The correct trim is a basic requirement for fault-free flying behaviour of the quadro-
plane. Its adjustment is simple, but it requires some patience and a feel for it. Please
observe the following instructions precisely: Carefully move the thrust control up and
raise the quadroplane approximately 0.5 to 1 metre in altitude.
6A If the quadroplane moves by itself slowly or quickly to the left or right …
If the quadroplane moves by itself slowly or quickly banking to the left, press the roll
trim incrementally to the right. If the quadroplane moves to the right, press the roll
trim incrementally to the left
(2F)
.
6B If the quadroplane rotates by itself slowly or quickly around its own axis …
If the quadroplane rotates by itself slowly or quickly around its own axis, press the yaw
trim incrementally to the right. If the quadroplane rotates to the right, press the yaw
trim incrementally to the left
(2D)
.
6C If the quadroplane moves by itself slowly or quickly forwards or backwards …
If the quadroplane moves by itself slowly or quickly forward, press the nick trim incre-
mentally to the right. If the quadroplane moves back, press the nick trim incrementally
to the left
(2l)
.

Note:
Only minimal corrections of the controls are necessary for a smooth flying
behaviour of the quadroplane! The direction information applies if the quadroplane is
viewed from behind. If the quadroplane is flying towards the pilot, it must be moved
in the opposite direction.
7A
Take off or increase altitude by carefully moving the control for thrust and yaw
forward.
7B
Land or decrease altitude by moving the control for thrust and yaw backward.
7C
Fly forward by moving the controller for `nick and roll carefully forward.
7D
Fly backward by moving the controller for nick and roll carefully backward.
7E
Fly left by moving the controller for nick and roll carefully to the left.
7F
Fly right by moving the controller for nick and roll carefully to the right.
7G
Turn quadroplane around to the left by moving the controller for thrust and
yaw to the left.
7H
Turn quadroplane around to the left by moving the controller for thrust and
yaw to the right.

Higher flying speed
For more flying speed, press the button at the top left of the remote control to switch
between "HALF" and "FULL" mode
(2H)
. Refer also to the indicator in the display
(2L)
.
In "FULL" mode the quadroplane has a greater tilt, which enables higher flying speeds.
Please only use this function once you have gained sufficient experience in "HALF"
mode, because the quadroplane reacts somewhat sensitively and therefore must be
controlled with a lighter touch.
