SPECIFICATIONS
The above models have all been certified for use with either Natural or Propane
gases, designated in the model number by the suffix NG (Natural Gas) or P (Propane)
There are two types of appliances covered under this manual:
- Top Vented designated by the suffix T which may be vented through the
roof and may also be vented through a wall above the appliance.
- Rear Vent type which may be vented through the sidewall of the dwelling
or vertically through the roof.
Both of these appliances draw all of their air for combustion from the
outside of the dwelling through specially designed vent pipe.
FOR INSTALLATIONS ABOVE SEA LEVEL
In Canada, these appliances are certified for altitudes of 0 - 2000' and must be
derated by 10% for installation at elevations between 2000'and 4500'. In the
U.S.A., the appliance must be derated 4% for every 1000' above 2000' elevations
All models are equipped with a variable input gas control which allow reductions
in input of approximately 25%, when heating requirements are lower.
