The insertion of impact protectors marked with CE in an article of clothing does not mean that the whole item 

is marked CE and that it complies with the European Directive 89/686/EEC. The Seesmart limb protector 

inserts are designed and built for exclusive use by motorcyclists and should only be used in combination 

with an appropriate garment. DO NOT USE FOR OTHER PURPOSES. Do NOT permanently remove, 

modify or repair the protectors fitted in the garment. Only replace the protectors with protectors CE certified 

to the same or higher level that fit the pockets perfectly. Do not transfer Seesmart protectors into garments 

not suited for them. Users of this product should be aware that temperature extremes below or above 

ambient can negatively affect the impact characteristics of this protector. No product can offer complete 

protection from injury or damage to individuals and property in case of a fall, collision or impact. Ensure that 

your product is correctly used and fitted into the garment; if the garment is not comfortable and limits any 

freedom of movement, a different size garment should be chosen. Ensure that the garment and therefore 

the protector is fitted close to the body. Do not use any product that is worn, modified or damaged. REV’IT! 

makes no guarantees or representations, express or implied, regarding the extent to which its products 

protect individuals or property from injury or death or damage. REV’IT! disclaims all responsibility for damages 

/ consequences deriving from fitting the protectors in unsuitable items. In addition, REV’IT! disclaims all 

responsibility in the case of removal or other disuse of the protectors, or protectors fitted in unmarked clothes.

STORAGE ANd mAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

Remove the protector before the garment is washed. If dirty, the protector can be cleaned with a damp cloth 

and soapy water. Do not submerge the protector in water. Never clean the protector with strong cleaning 

agents or solvents, as these could weaken the materials or damage the integrity of the protector. Do not 

place heavy items on top of the protector and keep it away from direct heat sources and direct sunlight. The 

protector should be periodically checked for wear and tear (annually at minimum) and should be replaced after 

5 years from the first usage. Although this protector is multi-impact rated, it should be checked after severe 

impact and be replaced if the main structure is degraded or torn. The protector should only be used if it is in 

perfect condition with no visible damage. Under no circumstances should the protector be repaired, altered 

or modified, this includes the application of paints or dyes, which could compromise the material integrity. 

Preferably transport the device in its packaging unit if applicable. The disposal of this product should be done 

in compliance with local refuse regulations. This product is not hazardous and does not contain hazardous 

materials.

LImITATIONS ON USE

Motorcycling is an inherently dangerous activity and may result in serious personal injury including death. No 

limb protector can provide guaranteed protection in event of a crash, and although wearing a limb protector 

can reduce the chance of injury, it cannot prevent an injury happening and no guarantees or warranties, 

express or implied, are made regarding the protector’s ability to avoid the risk of injury while riding. The 

SEESMART protector range will protect against direct limited impact within the ‘Zone of Protection’ (as 

described in EN 1621-1:2012); however this protector will NOT protect against torsion, twisting, severe 

bending or high-energy impact to limbs or other parts of the body.
