Positioning the tweeter unit
The ICS80
should be positioned
such that the tweeter unit is parallel to
the listener (See Fig. A below). In this
way, the delay and the audio pressure
of the left and right channels are
practically identical, resulting in a good
stereo impression.

Positioning tip
The simplest way of finding the
optimum position for the ICS 80
is to
carry out a listening test before
tightening the 4 fixing screws. You
are best advised to select some music
that has strong left/ right separation
between the two channels.
In the case of an inappropriate
positioning as shown in Fig. B, the
sound delay between the two channels
differs considerably, which affects the
audio pressure at the listening position.

Turn the speaker until a clear left/ right
positionalisation can be perceived from
the listening position. Under no
circumstances should the music sound
diffused and imprecise.
