RC5 Trigger
The RC5 trigger is based on RC5 (IR) codes that are sent to the Voxnet system either from the integrated IR receiver of the
M51/ M100 or the wall-mounted keypad V218 (via M201, M203, M200 interface). With the RC M100, RC 117 and the
teachable M208 and S208, Revox offers a range of RC5 remote controls that can be deployed easily in the Voxnet system.
Important note RC5 Codes
In opposite to the Multiroom system of the M series, all incoming IR codes will be directly passed to the Voxnet Server to
execute (trigger) actions if required. Therefore you should split the RC5 codes into to two divisions of RC5 addresses, one
for purposes of the Multiuser System and one for local sources of the M51/ M100
[ > Setup > Remote]
.The last ones can
be e.g. digital sources for the TV sound, which can not be imported into the Multiuser System.
Regardless of whether the commands are used globally or locally, they must appear in the list of the RC5-triggers of the
M51. This means that even a command that is used only for the call of the optical digital input must be listed in the RC5
trigger list.
Commands created using Voxnet text are assigned to the RC5 codes [A OpCode] in the RC5 trigger setup.
For convenience, Revox developed two RC5-trigger files for direct import with the configurator.
