Basic points for cleaning
Maintenance requirements
•
Under no circumstances may the coffee machine be
cleaned with a hose or pressurized water equipment.
All cladding must only be wiped down with a damp
cloth.
•
For safety reasons, product dispensing is blocked du-
ring cleaning.
•
A cleaning operation can never be interrupted. If the
power fails, a new cleaning cycle will be forced when
the power returns.
•
Cleaning agents must be stored out of the reach of
children (CH: Poison class 5).
•
Cleaning agents must be stored in a locked cupboard
and may only be accessible to authorized persons.
The manufacturer accepts no liability in the event of
misuse.
•
You must always follow the instructions on the packa-
ging.
•
Use only the tested HGZ Cleaning products.
•
If the coffee machine is being used on a mobile trol-
ley, enough fresh water must be available and the
waste water/drip container must always be emptied
before cleaning.

Weekly cleaning
Large separation and thoroughly cleaning for the
drinks outlet.
Monthly cleaning
Remove, empty, clean and reinstall the bean hoppers
and the powder hoppers.
Manual cleanings
Surface cleaning
The surfaces should be washed regularly with a damp
cloth.
Cleaning the touchscreen
To clean the touchscreen interface lock the keys in the
cleaning menu. After that, the touch screen is disabled
for 20 seconds and you can clean the surface with a
damp cloth.
Warning
Do not use sharp objects or abrasive cleaners.
