PREFACE
Overview
The Wander Management Solution monitors
doors, elevators, hallways, and stairwells to
assist staff in monitoring residents in a
facility. The transmitter is placed on the wrist
or ankle of the resident. If a transmitter is
detected in an Exit Alarm Zone and the door
is open, an alarm sounds at the exit.
Depending upon which equipment you have
installed, the Wander Management Solution
can automatically lock doors and deactivate
elevators.
In addition, if the system in your facility
includes computers, an alarm also sounds at
a Central Server and its network of Client
computers. The Central Server and Client
computers are also capable of identify which
resident sounded the alarm and the exit
where the alarm occurred.

: The Wander Management
Solution is designed and intended to work in
conjunction with a facility’s overall resident
security program, including reasonable
operating policies and procedures. The
Wander Management Solution, by itself,
cannot prevent the elopement of residents.
