Remove the Light Module from the Battery Module and check that the electrical contacts
(golden metal ring on the Light Module and 4 golden metal pins on the Battery Module) are

Check to see if the yellow O-ring of the Light Module is hardened, has lost elasticity, is
discolored, or is flattened. Remove the deteriorated yellow O-ring and discard it. Clean the
O-ring groove on the Light Module and the O-ring mount on the Battery Module. Apply
a thin layer of the dedicated grease to the new yellow O-ring and mount it correctly. See
“Maintaining the O-ring” on page 9 for details. Be sure to use the RGB-OR01 O-ring.

Check that no foreign material (lint, pet hair, sand, etc.) has gotten inside the dedicated

Check that the module caps are on. Place the module caps on the modules to prevent
foreign material from getting inside the product during storage or transportation.

Check that no foreign material (lint, pet hair, sand, etc.) is attached to the O-ring mount on
the Battery Module. Also keep the O-ring mount on the Battery Module clean.
→
Check that no foreign material (lint, pet hair, sand, etc.) is attached to the O-ring on
the Light Module. Keep the O-ring clean.

Check that there is no deterioration, damage, cracks, distortion, swelling, etc. on the O-ring
on the Light Module. Replace the O-ring at least once a year.
