WARNING
FALLING OR CRUSHING HAZARD

Always
stand clear, keep hands clear and keep
others away when using the winch.
•
Never
operate the winch with less than five turns of
wire cable / ten turns of synthetic rope around the
drum. The cable / rope could come loose because
the rope attachment to the drum is not designed to
hold a load.
•
Never
use the winch as a hoist or to suspend a load.
•
Never
use winch to lift or move people.
•
Never
use excessive force to free spool the winch
rope.
•
Always
use proper posture / lifting technique or get
lifting assistance while handling and installing the
product.
•
Always
spool the rope so that it feeds out of the
bottom (mount side) of the drum as per the drum
rotation labels on the winch. This is required for the
automatic brake to function properly.

remove jewelry and wear eye protection.

Never
route electrical cables across sharp edges.
•
Never
route electrical cables near parts that get hot.
•
Never
route electrical cables through or near moving
parts.

place the supplied terminal boots on the
wires and terminals.

Never
lean over the battery while making
connections.
•
Never
route electrical cables over the battery
terminals.
•
Never
short the battery terminals with metal objects.
•
Always
consult the operator’s manual for the correct
wiring diagrams.
•
Always
insulate and protect all exposed wiring and
electrical terminals.
