4.2- Set up and preparation for operation
- Check that the machine is completely and correctly assembled according to local regulations.
- Make sure that no parts are missing. If one (or more) part(s) is (are) missing, do NOT use the splitter.
Contact your local dealer to obtain the missing parts and make sure to correctly assemble them before
using the machine. Failure to do so may result in serious injury.
- Before using the machine, make sure each time that
- there are no faulty connections (tears, cuts, etc.)
- there are no damage to the machine
- all screws are tight
- check the hydraulic system for any possible leaks, refill oil if necessary
- Ensure that the working area meets the following conditions:
- no danger of slipping
- Flat and levelled surface
- free of obstacles, free form triping hazard
- sufficiently well lit
- Do not operate the machine in the direct vicinity of gas or petrol pipes or containers, or any other
easily inflammable materials or explosive products or materials.
4.2.1- For 042101 - log splitter 6T
4.2.1.1- Assembly of the Support stand
Place log splitter horizontally.
Bolt the support stand tubes onto the Log Splitter main body (Fig.3).
After log splitter is fully assembled place it on a stable, flat and levelled work surface.
Lock the wheels to avoid any slippage or moving.
