IV. GETTING STARTED
4.1- Unpacking
Remove product from its packaging.
Check that product and accessories are not damage
4.2- Installing the ballast weight (Fig.2, Fig.3)
To assemble the ballast weights to the electric cable:
1- Insert the electric cable (2) through the ballast weight (3) (see Fig.2)
2- Adjust the ballast weights to the required height (Fig.3).
The height to which you attach the ballast weights determines the floating switch tripping height
(starting or stopping the pump).
4.3- Connecting the cable (Fig.4, Fig.5)
Remarks:
- It is recommended that you ask a qualified electrician to carry out the connection.
- The connection between the electrical cable (2) and the pump cable must be done in a closed
and completely sealed enclosure (eg connection box.).
Do not immerse the connection box.
- The pump must be connected to a power plug with an earth connection.
Connect the blue wire (of the Floating switch cable) to the motor wire of the electric pump
(replacing the original wire).
Connect the brown wire (of the Floating switch cable) to the original neutral wire (blue) of the
pump.
Connect the yellow / green wire (of the Floating switch cable) to the mass of the pump.
4.4- Operating mode (Fig.6)
When the water level in the tank or the vessel reaches the upper limit (i.e. when the float reaches
the upper limit), the pump starts automatically and empty the tank or vessel.
When the water level in the tank or the tank is low (i.e. when the float reaches the lower limit), the
pump stops.
To adjust the upper and lower height, simply adjust and fix the ballast weights to the required
height.
