Blade installation
•
Clean and remove any dust or wood chips on the cutter head (a).
•
Make sure the 3 fixing bolts (b) are loosened.
•
Slide a reversed or new blade back into the cutter head.
•
Tighted the outer 2 fixing bolts first. Make sure the blade sits in the middle of the cutter
head and both sides of the blade protrude equally. If not, re-adjust.
•
Securely tighten all 3 fixing bolts.
Blade level adjustment
•
The blade must be mounted so that the cutting edge is absolutely level, that is parallel to the
surface of the rear base plate.
•
Adjust the blade level by loosening or tightening the 2 hex bolts (d) with a suitable hex key
(e).
4.3.2- Dust extraction (see Fig. 3)
•
This tool is equipped with dust bag (i) for collection of
wood chips.
•
The dust bag can be installed on either side of the
planer.
•
Turn the discharge chute (8, j) clockwise, then pull out
the discharge chute.
•
Make sure the zipper (k) on the bag is completely
closed.
•
Insert the dust bag connector to the opening of the
discharge chute.
•
Restore the discharge chute to the tool, then turn
anticlockwise to lock securely.

4.3.3- Parallel guide
•
Insert the parallel guide (5) into the hole on either side of the planer.
•
Align the blade edge with the cutting line drawn on the workpiece.
•
Adjust the parallel guide until it comes in contact with the side of the workpiece, then secure
it by tightening the lock screw (4).
