3.2- Additional safety rules for electric power tool
•
When the tool is not in use or before performing cleaning, turn it off and remove the battery
pack.
•
To reduce risk of injury, keep children and bystanders away while operating this power tool.
•
Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times.
•
Keep handles and grasping surfaces dry, clean and free from oil and grease.
•
Keep hair, loose clothing, finger and any parts of body away from ejection port, openings or
moving parts.
•
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not use near water or any liquid.
•
Do not touch with wet hands.
•
Do not expose the tool to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool will increase
the risk of electric shock or product failure.
•
Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable
liquids, gases or dust.
•
Maintain labels and rating plate through the life of service.
•
Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn on and off. Any power tool that cannot
be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
•
Do not use a power tool while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or
medication.
•
Store idle power tool out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with
the power tool or these instructions to operate the power tool.
3.3- Special warnings when using this product
•
Always assume that the tool contains fasteners. Careless handling of the stapler can result in
unexpected firing of fasteners and personal injury.
•
Do not point the tool towards yourself or anyone nearby.
•
Do not actuate the tool unless the tool is placed firmly against the workpiece.
•
Remove the battery pack from the tool before loading fastener, adjustment, inspection,
maintenance or removing a jammed fastener in the tool.
•
Do not use this stapler for fastening electrical cables.
•
Check walls, ceilings, floors and roofing carefully to avoid possible electrical shock, gas
leakage, explosions, etc. caused by stapling into live wires, conduits or gas pipes.
•
Never fasten into any materials which may allow the fastener to puncture and fly through as
a projectile.
•
Never actuate the switch trigger and contact switch until you are prepared to fasten
workpieces.
•
Use only fasteners specified in this manual. The use of any other fasteners may cause
malfunction of the tool.
•
Use personal protective equipment. Always wear safety goggles, dust mask and earmuffs
when using the tool.
•
Do not use the tools in any operations that beyond the intended purpose.
•
Never hold the work pieces with your hand or any part of your body during operations with
the tools.
•
This product is designed to be powered by Ribimex 20V Li-ion battery pack only.
•
Use with specifically designated Li-ion battery packs (not included). Use of other batteries
may cause fire. See Table 3 for more information.
•
Recharge the battery pack with specifically designated Ribimex chargers (not included).
Use of other chargers may cause fire. See Table 2 for more information.
•
Refer to the instruction manual of Ribimex battery pack and charger for safety, quality and
operation instructions.
