Do not use in places where fumes, solvents or flammable liquids pose a risk.
Do NOT climb on the machine.
Control the machine
Before use, carefully inspect the machine.
Check that the guards are in place and operate properly.
Do not disassemble or modify safety and security devices.
Form the habit to check that any adjustment keys are removed from the machine before
starting it.
Replace any damaged, missing or worn out parts before using the machine.
Make sure all nuts, bolts, screws, hydraulic connectors, etc. are properly tightened.
Always check fuel and oil levels in their respective tanks with the machine on flat
ground.
Never use the machine if repairs are required or if it is in a bad mechanical condition.
Inspect the materials to shred
Make sure there are no nails or other objects in the material. Never attempt to shred
wood containing nails, wire or debris.
Wear Personal Protection Equipment
- Wear eye / face protection.
The discharge chute projects debris into the air. The projection of this debris can cause
permanent injury to the eyes, face and head. Always wear a visor or safety glasses to
protect the eyes and / or face from chips and debris.
Note: correction glasses and sunglasses are
not
safety glasses.
- Wear head protection (safety helmet)
- Wear protective shoes with non-slippery sole.
- Wear protective gloves.
- Wear dust mask.
- Wear ear protection.
The machine may exceed 85 dB(A) at the workplace; in this case, noise protection
measures need to be taken to protect the user.
CAUTION! Fire hazard.
Do not smoke or approach an open flame while using the machine or when filling the
tank with oil or gasoline.
Never start the machine near flames or sparks.
Oil / gasoline is flammable and may explode.
Keep bystanders and children away.
The machine must only be operated by one person.
Anyone else should stay away (3m or more) from the work area, especially when the
machine is running.
Never ask another person for help to free a stuck branch.
Persons under the age of 16 are not allowed to use the machine.
Persons under the age of 18 must have been trained to use the machine correctly and
safely and must remain under the supervision of an adult responsible for their safety.
Keep people and animals away from the product and work area.
Keep persons (esp. children) and animals away from product and working area.
Projection hazard (e.g. small debris).
Keep bystanders at a safe distance (at least 3m) away from the tool while in operation.
Prevent accidents
Danger! Keep all parts of your body away from moving parts and from the shredder
hopper and discharge chute.
Do not stand on the machine or lean over the hopper (grinding area) or stand in front of
