Simple Mail Transfer Protocol. The protocol for communication between Internet
main MTAs (Message Transfer Agents).
5852 1* SMTP Server Name
Allows you to specify the server by either its IP address or
host name. If you use the host name, then you must also
specify the DNS.
5852 2* SMTP Server Port
Number
Sets the port number of the SMTP server.

Enter a text string for the user name.

Enter a character string for the password.
5852 7* POP Before SMTP
During mail sending, determines whether the POP server
connection is validated before connecting to the SMTP
server. This prevents unauthorized access to the SMTP
server and requires users to access and log onto the
POP3 server before sending e-mail.

: No. POP server connection validated.
1: Yes. POP server connection validated before SMTP
connection.

with SP5852 6 (POP Before SMTP). Limit: 63 characters.

Encryption
Determines whether encryption is done when POP
connection is validated before SMTP connection.

Stamp Data Download

Use this SP to download the fixed stamp data stored in the firmware of the ROM
and copy it to the HDD. This SP can be executed as many times as required. This
SP must be executed after replacing or formatting the hard disks.
Note
: This SP can be executed only with the hard disks installed.

Remote ROM Update
When set to “1” allows reception of firmware data via the local port (IEEE 1284)
during a remote ROM update. This setting is reset to zero after the machine is
cycled off and on.
