2.2.1 PAPER FEED MECHANISM
The Rx motor [A] in the printer engine drives all the paper feed components.
At the start of printing, the Rx motor rotates clockwise to move the gear arm [B] to
drive the paper feed roller [C]. The separation hooks [D] prevent more than one
sheet of paper from being fed into the printer engine.
When the paper reaches the registration roller [E], the motor reverses to drive
registration and feed-out rollers. After printing, the motor rotates clockwise again
to eject the paper from the printer using the ejector [F], and to move the gear arm
[B] to the standby position.
The paper end sensor [G] detects paper end.
