Important
: In order to fulfill specific business application needs, an Application Developer
can write their own Pre-Render, Render or Post-Render Service based on the
GlobalScan SDK Toolkit. For example, a third-party can write another OCR application,
the name of which would appear under the “Render” heading.
The path entered on the
OCR server must point
to the same folder
(either local or network
shared) as that entered
in the profile Services
tab. For instructions on
configuring the OCR
engine, please refer to
Appendix E.
