6.3  ERROR INDICATION

If the self-diagnostics find an error, the error is displayed by a combination of the
four LEDs on the scanner. If the dip switches on the rear of the machine are set up
for normal operation, the error is indicated roughly for users. When the dip switches
are set to the self-diagnostic mode position, the system error is indicated in detail
for technicians.
