When Roll Media Hangs Down and Makes Contact with the Floor
Cause
Solution
• Heavy media such as tarpaulin has
been used.
• If the amount to roll is large, the media
may not be rolled depending on its
type.
• Check that the left and right of the media is not
misaligned or the media is not loose, before
setting the media correctly. For details about
setting media, see page 37 "Setting Media".
• Remove the roll media, and then reattach it.
The media feeding switch and media winding
switch have not been selected correctly.
For details about media feeding/winding direction,
see page 37 "Setting Roll Media".
The inner part of the roll media spool is
chipped, causing the roll media to slip.
Replace the roll media spool.
