OPERATION
Depress the latches to remove the battery pack.
For complete charging instructions, see the operator’s
manuals for your battery pack and charger.
WARNING:
Battery products are always in operating condi-
tion. Therefore, remove the battery pack when the
product is not in use or when carrying at your side.
SWITCH TRIGGER (HIGH/MEDIUM/LOW/OFF)
See Figure 3, page 8.
The spotlight will be in the OFF position until the switch
trigger is pressed.
Connect the product to the battery pack.
Press and release the trigger to cycle between HIGH,
MEDIUM, LOW, and OFF.
Press and hold the trigger for two seconds while ON (in
any mode) and the light will shut off.
Press and hold the trigger for two seconds while OFF
allows the light to go into low mode.
NOTE:
This light is equipped with a low voltage indicator. If
the light flashes 3 times while a battery pack is installed, this
indicates a low charge condition. Install a charged battery
pack and resume operation.
WARNING:
Keep spotlight away from combustible materials.
If wrapped or in contact with fabrics, the spotlight
lens can produce sufficient heat to melt some fab-
rics. To avoid serious personal injury, never allow
the spotlight lens to come in contact with anything.
OVER TEMPERATURE PROTECTION
If overheating occurs, the light will attempt to cool itself by
dimming.
If dimming does not cool the light sufficiently, it will shut off.
As soon as the unit reaches normal operating temperature,
it can be turned on again. If it shuts off, allow approximately
10 minutes of cool-down time before attempting to resume
operation.
ADJUSTABLE HEAD
See Figure 4, page 8.
CAUTION:
Do not place hands or fingers between adjustable
head and handle when positioning spotlight to
avoid pinching your fingers or hands.
The adjustable head can be rotated 190 degrees. Adjust
light to desired position for best illumination.
MOUNTING THE SPOTLIGHT
See Figure 5 and 6, page 8.
The spotlight can be mounted to any tripod that has a
1/4-20 thread mounting screw.
Place the spotlight on the tripod mounting screw. Make
sure the screw properly engages the mounting hole, on
the back of the spotlight.
Secure the spotlight to the mounting screw as described
in the tripod operator’s manual.
After the spotlight is installed, check the stability of the
tripod prior to use.
