Maintenance
17. RADIATOR TUBE AND CONNECTIONS
Radiator tubes
Check that the radiator tubes are not cut or
damaged and that the connections are not
leaking.
Radiator
Check that the radiator fins (1) are not
obstructed (insects or mud). Clean the
obstructions with a low pressure water jet.
WARNING
Using high pressure water can damage radiator
fins and reduce their effectiveness.
Do not obstruct or divert the air intake to the
radiator by installing unauthorized accessories.
Interference in the radiator can overheat and
damage the engine.
18. BRAKES ADJUSTMENT
Front brake lever:
Adjust the brake lever (1) until you feel
comfortable. To adjust it, loosen the nut (2).
After adjusting it, tighten securely. Check that
the brake responds correctly.
Rear brake pedal:
When the brake pedal (3) is in the rest position
you should have a play of 5-7 mm.
Check the brake for correct response and do
not rub it.
DANGER
If the brake pedal or brake lever feels spongy
when actuated, it may be because there is air in
the pump or circuit corresponding to each
brake, or that a component
of the
corresponding brake system is in poor
condition.
Since it is dangerous to ride in these conditions
check the brakes immediately, for this we
recommend you go to your official RIEJUS
service centre.
