PUTTING INTO SERVICE
b
Never allow the pump to run dry, as this can cause irreparable damage to the bearings even in a short time.
Before putting into service, proceed as follows.
- Fill the circuit.
- Flush out the circuit thoroughly to eliminate all foreign bodies and particles of dirt that might otherwise cause the pump
to seize.
- Bleed the circuit completely. Persistent water circulation noises from the pump indicate that there is still air in the circuit.
Switch the pump on and off again a number of times to facilitate bleeding. Proceed as follows to remove any residual air.
- Disconnect the pump from the electrical power supply.
- Slowly loosen the shoulder nut and carefully open the water pipe until water comes out from the shoulder nut. Take care
to prevent water from coming into contact with the pump’s electrical connections.
- Tighten the shoulder nut again and re-connect the pump to the electrical power supply.
SETTING THE THERMOSTAT
Set the desired temperature by means of the knob on the pump body.
The pump switches off automatically if the temperature of the water reaches the setpoint. The thermostat on the pump
body allows you to set any temperature between 20°C and 70°C.
MAINTENANCE / DISASSEMBLY
b
All work must be performed by specialist personnel.
If the pump seizes or begins to make grinding noises, check it and replace it as necessary. To do so, proceed as follows.
- Disconnect the pump from the electrical power supply.
- Close the water shut-off valves.
- Unscrew the shoulder nut and remove the pump. (Take care to prevent water from coming into contact with the pump’s
electrical connections).
