Start-up, calibration and operation of the burner
6.1
Notes on safety for the first start-up
6.2
Adjustments prior to ignition
The following adjustments must be carried out:
open the manual valves upline of the gas train;
release the air from the gas piping using the screw on the
gas pressure test point (P1) (Fig. 13 on page 21).
Adjust the minimum gas pressure switch to the start of the
scale.
6.3
Fan adjustment
Modulation is based on variable-speed technology.
The combustion air flow rate can be regulated by varying the mo-
tor speed (rpm).
The proportioning gas train delivers the right amount of fuel, de-
pending on the pressure detected in the purging circuit.
So the flow rate supplied is regulated by changing the rotation
speed of the motor.
The motor speed can be regulated through an adjustment of the
control box.
The adjustments take place via the keys and display on the con-
trol box and are carried out using the following parameters:
START
ignition point (P0)
MIN
minimum point (P1)
MAX
maximum point (P2)
NOTE:
The adjustment of the fan (to establish the maximum, mini-
mum and ignition outputs) can occur independently both of
the AZL display (see accessories) and the keys and display
on board the machine. Below is a description of the proce-
dure to carry out using keys and display on the control box.

by qualified personnel, as indicated in this manual
and in compliance with the standards and regula-
tions of the laws in force.
WARNING
Check the correct working of the adjustment, com-
mand and safety devices.
WARNING
Before igniting the burner, see the paragraph
“Safety test - with gas feeding closed” on
page 31.
