Description
Queries the event register of the Standard Event register and clears all bits in the
register.
Parameter
None.
Remarks

Executes this command and the query returns a decimal value (corresponding to
the binary-weighted sum of all bits set in the register) and clear the status of the
register. For definitions of the bits in the Standard Event register and the decimal
values corresponding to their binary weights, please refer to
bits in the standard event register and the decimal values corresponding to their
.
For example, if query error and execution error currently occur in the instrument,
the bit2 (query error bit) and bit4 (execution error bit) in the event register of the
Standard Event register are set and this command returns 20 (according to

The bits in the event register of the Standard Event register are latched and
reading the register will clear it. You can also send
to clear the register.
Return Format
The query returns a decimal value, which corresponds to the binary-weighted sum of
the bits set in the event register of the Standard Event register. For example, the query
