Intended Use
Battery-operated Sander/Polisher for sanding/
polishing a multitude of projects: automotive,
wood, metal and home repair.
Unpacking Your Sander/
Polisher
• Carefully unpack and inspect your product. Fully
familiarise yourself with all its features and
functions.
• Ensure all parts of the product are present and
in good condition. If any parts are missing or
damaged, have such parts replaced before
attempting to use this product.
Before Use
IMPORTANT:
Your Sander/Polisher’s battery
comes partly charged. It is recommended that you
fully charge the battery before using the tool for
the first time. It is also recommended that you fully
drain then fully charge the battery for a further 2
times to condition the battery, ensuring optimal
usage is achieved for the duration of the battery
life.
Charging the Battery
ONLY use this charger to
charge the supplied battery or additional
purchased batteries that are specifically designed
for this tool.
The Battery Charger is
designed for indoor use only and MUST NOT be
used in damp or wet conditions.
Failure to follow the correct
procedure when charging batteries will result in
permanent damage.
Note:
Fully charging the battery can take 1–3hrs,
depending on how depleted the battery charge
is when inserting the battery into the charger.
Also, it may take longer if the battery has been in
a discharged state for an extended period of time.
1. Plug in the Power Cord.
2. Insert the Battery into the Battery Charger
(it can only fit one way).
3. The Red LED will illuminate, which indicates
charging.
4. The Green LED will illuminate once the
battery is fully charged
Installing the Battery
1. Ensure the Battery (L) has adequate charge
(see ‘
Charging the Battery
’).
2. Insert the Battery into the Hand Grip
(the Battery can only fit one way) until the Battery
locks into place with a faint clicking sound.
3. Your Sander/Polisher is ready for use.
Removing the Battery
1. Press in and hold the Battery Release clips on
both sides of the Battery then pull down to remove
the Battery.
2. The Battery can now be inserted into the
Battery Charger to charge, if required (see
‘Charging the Battery’) or stored in a cool, dry
place.
Installing a Backing Pad
Note:
Items referenced below and throughout the
manual ( A thru L) can be found in the
“OVERVIEW” section of the manual found on
page nine.
1. Depress the Spindle Lock (B) on the rear of the
Angle Gear Housing (C).
2. Thread the Hook & Loop Backing Pad (A) onto
the M10 x 1.25 Spindle until seated.
3. Release the Spindle Lock (B) on the rear of the
Angle Gear Housing (C).
Installing Polishing Pads,
Sponges & Sanding Discs
1. Hook & Loop polishing pads, sanding discs
and other accessories, such as polishing sponges
can be pressed onto the face of the Hook & Loop
Backing Pad (A).
2. Slowly pull the applied attachment off the Hook
& Loop Backing Pad to remove.
Note:
Always make sure both hook and loop
surfaces are free of dirt and debris to ensure safe
bond of the accessory.
