The
device filters become contaminated when vacuuming up substances that are hazardous to health.
The following precautions must therefore be observed.
The procedure must be carried out with special care, in order to avoid raising large quantities of vacuumed-
up dust.
The removed and/or replaced filter must be placed in an impervious plastic bag;
Seal the plastic bag;
The contaminated filter must be disposed of in compliance with the valid regulations for the elimination of
such waste.
Replacing the filter is an important procedure. It must be replaced with another filter which has the same
attributes, the same fineness, the same filter area, and which belongs to the same category.
Otherwise, correct operation of the device may be impaired.
Do not raise any dust during these work processes. Wear protective mask P3 as well as other protective
equipment and safety gloves (personal protective equipment), depending on the hazardousness of the
aspirated dust. Refer to the valid legal requirements.
