Verify Factory Parameter Settings
1.  Press “SEL” for 3 seconds until the SV light

comes on and the row displays the casting

set-point. Release the button.

2.  Turn the J-2

r

 off and then on again.

3.  Repeat all the above steps to check all

the settings. Some parameters are linked

to other parameters, so the setting must

be verified.

Important: Use care when stepping through

the parameters to be sure you don’t

mistakenly change a value. All values must

be correct for the controller to work properly.

Close dSP Factory Settings
1.  After checking all the settings, push the

down arrow (

) again until you see dSP1 (or

press “SEL” 9 seconds until you see “P-n1” and

then press the down arrow (

) until you see

“dSP1”.

2.  Continue setting the values from the dSP

factory settings chart below.

3.  Turn off the J-2

r

. The correct settings are

now permanently stored in the controller.

The machine is ready for operation.

Important: Remember to re-enter your

casting temperature set-point and your

casting balance after you have made any

changes to your J-2

r

 programming settings.
