7. Click the “Select” button.
The “Confi gure Filter” window appears.
8. Select PostScript printer from the “Printer Type” list then click the “OK” button.

Please do not change the other settings.
The “Confi gure Filter” window closes and returns to the “Edit Remote Unix (lpd)
Queue Entry” window.
9. Click the “OK” button.
10. Select “Network Confi guration” from the “Administration Tasks” window.
The “Network Confi gurator” window appears.
11. Click the “Hosts” button then click the “Add” button.
The “Edit/etc/hosts” window appears.
12. Input the IP address in the “IP” space, and the host name (inputted in step 6) to
the “Name” space. If required, input a nickname to the “Nicknames” space then
click the “Done” button.

Please contact the system administrator for the IP address.
The “Edit/etc/hosts” window closes.
13. Click the “Save” button.
