When KL-04 Does Not Start Up Normally
At the startup screen after turning power to the KL-04 on, a message such as shown below
may appear, and the system does not start up normally.
This may be due to a fi le system (recording medium data management method) problem
related to the hard disk, causing the operating system to request a fi le check (fsck) in dialog
mode. Please contact the supplier.
Cannot Perform Backup/Restore
If an error message appears and backup or restore cannot be carried out, perform “Reten-
sion the Tape” on the “KL-04 - Backup/Restore” window (see page 108). If this does not
remove the problem, cleaning may be required, or the tape or tape drive may have developed
a problem or may have reached the end of its service life. Please contact the supplier.
Syringe Response Problem
If the syringe does not respond normally due to any reason, a message appears indicating
that the KL-04 cannot be initialized. Verify that the syringe cover is properly closed and
that there are no obstacles to syringe movement. Turn power to the KL-04 off and then
on again. This message does not indicate a problem with the KL-04 itself, but if the mes-
sage appears again after a restart, the syringe or a related part may be defective. Please
contact the supplier.
