Maintenance
Steps after use
When removing the KS-93 from the measurement system, observe the
following points.
- To prevent accidents related to remnant substances, purge the system
thoroughly with inert gas (nitrogen gas, argon gas or similar).
- To prevent contamination of the gas flow parts, seal the SAMPLE
inlet/outlet connectors with the end plugs.
Periodic servicing for safety
When using the unit for measurement of toxic or reactive gases, be sure to
have the unit serviced and checked at least once a year, to ensure continued
safety. If this is not performed, Rion Co., LTD. will not be liable for any
accidents. Period servicing and checking are obligatory. To make arrangements
for servicing, contact the supplier.
Calibration
In order to ensure continued measurement accuracy, periodic calibration about
once per year is recommended. To make arrangements for calibration, contact
the supplier.
When CELL indicator is lit in red
The gas flow parts may be contaminated. Pass a large amount of inert gas
(nitrogen gas, argon gas or similar) through the system.
Perform the same cleaning procedure if measurement data sent from any
interface contain the "CELL_NG" comment.
If the CELL indicator still does not change to green, the system must be serviced.
Please contact the supplier.
