WELDING PROCEDURES:
Ground welder to front frame angle
for welding strut base or missing
anchor loop.

Never weld on leveler when the electrical
components are connected to the main
control box and the power to the box is
on.
D o n o t a t t e m p t t o c u t a w a y
hardware that is under a load.
Lockout / Tagout procedures
When working with electrical or
electronic controls, make sure that
t h e p o w e r s o u r c e h a s b e e n l o c k e d
out and tagged according to OSHA
regulations 1910.147 and approved
e l e c t r i c a l c o d e s .
Barricade work area
Post safety warnings and barricade
work area at dock level and ground
level to prevent unauthorized use
of the dock position while service
work is being performed. Support
leveler platform safely while
performing work.
Safe-T-Strut Installation
If this strut is improperly installed
serious injury or death may result.
The Safe-T-Strut should only be
installed by qualified personnel.
