4.3. The boiler operates (mainly) on coal; it is ignited once and operates continuously through the entire
heating season.
4.4. Coal or any other lump fuel is fed under its own weight to the combustion zone through a coal bunker.
4.5. Combustion of fuel occurs in a thin upper layer, which virtually eliminates the formation of carbon
monoxide and provides the boiler with efficiency of up to 84% when operating in optimal mode.
4.6. The average seasonal fuel consumption (calorific value of 6,000 kcal/kg) for residential premises is 70-
80 grams per 1 m
3
a day or less than 200 g per 1 kW, which is 10-30% less than in traditional boilers and
furnaces.
4.7. Fuel loading weight of 40kg allows:
a) maintaining the nominal temperature for 8-24 hours;
b) protecting the system from freezing for up to 36 hours.
Fuel consumption depends on the insulation of the premises.
