Connection is made in a downward direction into a
raised floor (if available), or alternatively in an upward
direction out of the device. The dimensions of the
mounting openings required for connection are shown
in the overview sketch in section 16.3 "Overview draw-
ings" (see fig. 87).

To supply topfeed water connections to the LCP the
roof cover plate (fig. 45, item 1) must be rotated
180° to expose the topfeed access holes (fig. 45,
item 2). To do so remove four T25 Screws and then
reinstall them after both hoses have been feed
through.
In case of a low water inlet temperature (<12 °C), the
inlet and return lines should be appropriately insulat-
ed. If this is not done, condensate may form on the
supply lines.
Note:
If possible, use flexible hoses for the cooling
water connection (see section 15 "Accesso-
ries").
Note:
The cooling water connection must
always
be made with union nuts, even if you choose
not to use the Rittal hose connection kit. This
hose connection kit includes suitable union
nuts in addition to the connection hoses.
