HOW TO USE YOUR HAND MIXER
TO INSERT BEATERS
CAUTION:
Be sure mixer is unplugged.
When mixer is resting on heel, insert one beater into slot. Press and twist slightly until locked
into position. Repeat with other beater.
TO REMOVE BEATERS
Turn mixer off. Unplug cord from electrical outlet. Push eject button.
MIXING GUIDE
1.
SPEED 1
– Use for starting and slow mixing, such as to blend dry and liquid ingredients,
or to break up potatoes for mashing.
2.
SPEED 2
– Prepare muffins and quick breads.
3.
SPEED 3
– Prepare cake batters, sauces, and instant puddings.
4.
SPEED 4
– Use for creaming sugar and butter, preparing cookie dough, kneading bread
and mixing other stiff batters.
5.
SPEED 5
– To whip cream, egg whites or mashed potatoes.
HOW TO CLEAN YOUR MIXER
CAUTION:
Never immerse mixer in water or other liquid.
Unplug cord from outlet. Remove beaters. Wipe mixer with damp cloth and dry.
For easy cleaning, wash the chrome beaters in hot soapy water or in dishwasher. Rinse thor-
oughly and dry.
