STEP 5
INSERT THE 5244 FRONT AXLE PLATE, 5242 BAT-
TERY TRAY, AND THE 5071 REAR BODY MOUNT INTO THE
SLOTS IN THE CHASSIS SIDE AS SHOWN.
STEP 6
SLIDE THE OTHER 5068 CHASSIS SIDE OVER
ALL OF THE PARTS ATTACHED TO THE OTHER ONE.
MAKE SURE THE TABS IN THE 5076 FLEX PLATE AND
5057 CHASSIS BRCE ARE ALL THE WAY IN AND USE
3/8 SCREWS FROM BAG N1B TO ATTACH THEM AND
LARGER 3/8 SCREWS FROM N1A IN ALL OF THE
ROUND CHASSIS SPACERS.
STEP 7
FLIP THE CHASSIS OVER, SLIDE THE 5072 BUMPER
FROM BAG NIB BETWEEN THE FRONT AXLE PLATE AND
CHASSIS SPACER AND ATTACH IT TO THE FRONT AXLE
PLATE WITH TWO SHORT SCREWS FROM BAG N1B.
STEP 8
FLIP THE CHASSIS BACK OVER AND AT-
TACH THE TWO LONGER BODY POSTS TO THE
HOLES IN THE BUMPER WITH 3/8 SCREWS AND ADD
THE ADJUSTABLE NUTS. ADD A DROP OF LIGHT OIL
IF THE NUTS ARE TOO TIGHT ON THE POSTS.
STEP 9
ATTACH THE TWO SHORTER BODY POSTS AND
NUTS TO THE REAR BODY MOUNT IN THE SAME MANNER.
STEP 11
THREAD A
JAM NUT (THIN ONE)
ON EACH 5377 KING-
PIN,INSERT THE
KINGPIN THROUGH
THE FRONT AXLE
PLATE AND RETAIN
WITH LOCK NUT.
STEP 10
OPEN BAG L1B.
SNAP A 5221 E-CLIP ON THE
END OF EACH 5364 STUB AXLE
(ONES WITH GROOVES DOWN
THEM) AND PRESS THEM INTO
THE STEERING BLOCKS AS
SHOWN
STEP 12
MAKE SURE THAT
THE STEERING BLOCKS SLIDE
FREELY ON THE KINGPINS,
LUBE THEM WITH SILICONE
GREASE OR LIGHT OIL, ADD THE
SPRING , WASHER , AND RETAIN
WITH A 5221 E-CLIP . REPEAT
FOR THE OPPOSITE SIDE MAK-
ING SURE THAT THE TAB ON
THE STEERING BLOCK POINTS
TO THE REAR.
